Maduro enacted the Law for the Promotion of Non-Oil Exports

President Nicolas Maduro The Venezuelan government enacted the Law for the Promotion of Non-Oil Exports on Thursday. This new law aims to boost and diversify Venezuelan exports beyond the oil sector, seeking to reduce the country’s economic dependence on revenues from crude oil.

«I am signing this historic law for the promotion of new non-oil exports. Development, growth and prosperity, a new law for the new economy“, he pointed.

Non-Oil Export Promotion Act

The Venezuelan government has asked the National Assembly to include the reform of the Law for the Promotion of the Entrepreneurship Sector on its agenda.

This Thursday, the Venezuelan president approved 10 thousand credits for the entrepreneurial sector of the country. During a meeting with entrepreneurs at the Teresa Carreño Theater, the president highlighted that there are a total of 1 million 387 thousand 261 certified entrepreneurs throughout the country, of which 64% are women.
