“Due to the horrific events of yesterday I intended to delay my trip to Milwaukee for two days,” the former president said in a post on his personal social network, Truth Social. “But I’m not going to let a sniper or an assassin force me to change my schedule or anything. Therefore, I will depart for Milwaukee as scheduled,” he added.
The Republican National Convention begins tomorrow Monday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. National Republican Committee (NRC) Chairman Michael Whatley told Fox News that authorities are working together to secure the site following months of preparations.
