The price of the dollar and the euro collapses 2024-07-18 14:17:59

The informal currency market in Cuba continues to show a favorable downward trend with continued falls in the prices of the US dollar and the euro.
As stated, according to the most recent data shared by the Toque platform, both the euro and the US dollar have experienced declines, while the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) remains stable.

The euro has dropped by no less than 10 pesos from yesterday to today, reaching a fairly low price of $320.00 CUP. A new fall that reinforces the downward trend of the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, the US dollar has dropped another five pesos, now trading at $310.00 CUP. A new adjustment that also reinforces the devaluation observed recently.

For its part, the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC) remains at $280.00 CUP, unchanged from the previous day. This stability contrasts with the fluctuations of other currencies.

These are the rates that elToque shares daily from the purchase and sale announcements on different social networks. However, it is important to note that in some currency buying and selling groups in Cuba, offers for slightly lower values are still being found.

Obviously, exchange rates are not homogeneous and can vary depending on several factors. Such as the urgency of the person selling or buying, the city, municipality or region where the transaction is taking place, the amounts of currency offered and the state of preservation of the banknotes, for example.
