ACTOR Reza Rahadian changed his appearance to a classic 1960s look to suit his role in the film Gowok Kamasutra Jawa, which is set in that period.
“Actually yes, in terms of looks, the reference was given to classic hair. The point is trying to get close to that so that the costume that supports it, the make-up supports it so that I have to convey the character as best as I can,” said Reza, quoted on Tuesday (16/7).
Reza also appears with a moustache to add to the classic impression of the character Denmas Kamanjaya that he plays.
Not only did he change his appearance, Reza admitted that he also lost weight to look slimmer.
“Yes, it turns out it’s not much, only 2.5 kilos,” said Reza.
The film Gowok Kamasutra Jawa, which is set in Java in the 1960s, required Reza to adapt his language and accent to suit the society that lived at that time.

Apart from Reza, the film Gowok Kamasutra Jawa also stars Raihaanun, Lola Amaria, Ali Fikry, Nayla Purnama, and others.
