Russia and Ukraine exchanged prisoners

Russia and Ukraine exchanged prisoners of war once more on Wednesday. The Russian Defense Ministry and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that 95 soldiers each were exchanged on both sides. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) mediated the exchange.

The previous exchange in June of a total of 180 prisoners was also mediated by the Emirates.

School lessons underground

In the city of Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine, which has been under Russian fire almost daily since the beginning of the war, children are to be taught more in underground schools in the future, according to authorities: As the Kharkiv city administration announced, the construction of three more such facilities has begun, following a first underground school project had already been successfully implemented.
