MEMBER of the Prabowo-Gibran Synchronization Task Force Team for Communications, Hasan Nasbi responded positively to the statement by Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto regarding the fast train and state security. According to Nasbi, Prabowo wants the TNI-Polri to carry out their roles and functions in development.
“If other components carry out the task of building infrastructure, building the economy, and educating the nation, then the TNI-Polri play a role in protecting the nation, maintaining security, including maintaining the results of development,” said Nasbi in his statement quoted in Jakarta, Sunday (14/7).
Therefore, Nasbi assessed that Prabowo did not want the country’s defense sector to be neglected amidst the massive development being carried out by the government.
“He is actually giving orders to the TNI-Polri to serve in carrying out their roles, namely maintaining the security and integrity of the country, so that the results of development are not in vain,” he said.
Nasbi assessed that Prabowo always focused on security which was considered important to maintain the sovereignty of the country. Likewise, all existing development results will not be maximally beneficial if the security and integrity of the country are not continuously maintained.
“Because development and security go hand in hand,” he said.
The Prabowo Subianto – Gibran Rakabuming Raka government delivered by Nasbi will focus on sustainability. In various speeches, Prabowo Subianto emphasized the importance of sustainable development, not diverting the direction of development.
“That’s why he invited us to thank all the Presidents who have led. Because Indonesia’s achievements today are the result of the hard work and services of previous presidents,” he said. (Z-8)
