Prometheus announced the early contract extension of Nasos Bazina, who will remain with the team until 2029. The announcement:
“KAE Prometheus Patras is pleased to announce the early extension of Nasos Bazina’s contract for another three years, i.e. until 2029, with the young guard continuing to be an integral member of the… Prometheus family for many years to come.
Nasos Bazinas was born on October 18, 2003. He is 1.94 tall and plays as a point guard. This is another athlete who grew into a man in Prometheus of Patras, taking the baptism of fire in the men’s team, at the age of just 15, competing in Greece and Europe.
At the same time, he was one of the protagonists in the first gold medal of the “NOUS” Children’s team in the Panhellenic Championship of 2019, while he participated all these years in the national teams of Children, Teenagers and Young Men. In fact, he was one of the main “cogs” in Eurobasket U20 with our representative team, which won the bronze medal last summer.
Last season, Bazinas made a significant step up in his career, as he established himself in Elias Papatheodorou’s starting rotation on the Prometheus men’s team, playing an average of 12.5 minutes. He finished the season averaging 3.7 points and 2 assists, while impressing with his accuracy from 6.75 meters, where he shot 47%.
We wish Nasos Bazina to fulfill all his individual ambitions, while helping to achieve the goals of Prometheus”.
