In particular, according to the Decision of the competent Deputy Minister Ioanna Lytrivi, the SAEK will be able to provide training via live, distance or hybrid methods, as long as it is provided for in the training guide of each specialty.
The new possibility is expected to contribute significantly to the upgrading of vocational training in our country, providing flexibility and high-quality training to all interested parties.
This initiative, in line with the imperatives of the time, utilizes new technologies for the benefit of trainees, enhances access to vocational training, promotes inclusion while at the same time improving the educational experience regardless of geographic location.
Distance training will be carried out through an electronic learning management system, which will ensure the authentication and connection of trainers and trainees, as well as the protection of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The Deputy Director of each SAEK will undertake the coordination of distance training, ensuring smooth communication between trainers and trainees and the observance of the necessary procedures.
Trainees will be able to attend the courses through synchronous or asynchronous distance learning using appropriate electronic equipment to participate in the training activities, thus ensuring uninterrupted internet connection and proper functioning of the video conferencing system.
In the event of a lack of suitable equipment, it goes without saying that trainees can always attend the courses in person at SAEK facilities.
