Delcy Rodríguez held a meeting with the Vice Minister of Commerce of China

The Executive Vice President of the Nicolás Maduro administration, Delcy Rodríguez, met this Monday with the Vice Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Shouwen, to discuss issues of mutual interest.

Through the social network X, the Vice Presidency released information regarding the meeting between Rodríguez and Shouwen, which has the “purpose of addressing issues related to trade and cooperation between both nations.”

“Currently, Venezuela and China have more than 600 strategic agreements in various areas that are essential for the development of both peoples. With this meeting, they reaffirm their efforts to continue building a multi-centered and multi-polar world,” they added.

The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Vice Presidency, was attended by Lang Hun, Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, and Lin Fen, director general of American and Oceanian Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce of the Asian country.

Rodríguez was also accompanied by José Félix Ribas Alvarado, Vice President of the Economic Sector of Venezuela, and the Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo.
