Lavrov intends to raise the issue of Bucha events in the UN Security Council

“It will suffice for me to hear what they say in response, in my opinion, for the tenth time the question is asked, is it possible to look at the list of people whose bodies the BBC showed in Bucha?” Lavrov said.

“It is a shame that this is left unanswered, just as it shows how the investigation into the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream is progressing,” he added.

The Russian Foreign Ministry had previously announced that Minister Sergei Lavrov would participate in the UN Security Council discussions on multilateral cooperation and the Middle East issue on July 16-17.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated in April 2022 that “the photos and videos published by the Kiev regime, which allegedly show crimes in Bucha, are another Ukrainian provocation.”

As noted in the military administration, during the time that this village was under the control of Russian forces, none of the residents were subjected to any harm or any acts of violence.

The ministry confirmed that all Russian units completely left Bucha on March 30, and the exits to the north of the city were not closed, while Ukrainian forces, around the clock, shelled the southern outskirts, including residential areas, from heavy tank artillery and multiple launch rocket systems.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia will continue to open the eyes of the international community to such fabrications from Kiev as what happened in Bucha.

Zakharova noted that Russia has repeatedly stated with facts that the events in Bucha were a farce.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also stated that Russia categorically rejects any accusations and calls on international leaders not to rush to make blanket accusations once morest Russia, but rather to listen to Moscow’s arguments.
