The Trujillo 2024 National Artistic Swimming Championships have been inaugurated

During the second day of competitions, the official inauguration of the 2024 Feveda Cup National Artistic Swimming Championship took place, a competition that returned to the state of Trujillo following more than ten years.

The events took place around the Adriana Segovia diving pit in the aquatic complex of the Ciudad Deportiva Luis Loreto Lira in Valera, starting with the parade of the eight participating entities.

Within the protocol, Jesús “Trompo” González took the floor first as the highest authority of Trujillo sport. He was followed by José Santana, National Director of Artistic Swimming. Dionela Peña, head of the High Performance Unit of Indet, was also present.

The show was provided with some exhibition jumps by the athletes of the Trujillo Diving Club and those who are part of the selection of this aquatic discipline that will represent the state in the upcoming National Games. Later, the Queen of the Event was chosen, with the winner being the representative of the state of Lara.
