“I think it’s over – we’ve lost all momentum,” a Biden ally confided in NBC News. On Saturday, the 81-year-old held a caucus meeting with House Democrats to address concerns regarding his mental state. However, many elected officials were unimpressed by his performance.

Following the shooting at the campaign rally, Biden’s team significantly scaled back its campaign activities, including halting the broadcast of TV advertisements, and implemented heightened security measures at Democratic campaign headquarters.
