Jiří Krampol is celebrating his 86th birthday. The legendary actor, voice actor and entertainer finally left Na Františka Hospital following many weeks and is currently in a nursing home. “I feel like an oasis here compared to the hospital,” the acting bard confided to eXtra.cz, who is enjoying being able to move to his new home in Prague 1. However, he plans to celebrate his birthday outside the capital.
Today’s birthday boy, Jiří Krampol, only recently moved to a new nursing home in Prague. He spent almost long months between the four walls of a hospital room, which ate away at him especially from a psychological point of view. “It’s killing,” lamented Krampol a few weeks ago for eXtra.cz.
A big relief
As the famous actor has now revealed to the editors of eXtra.cz, he perceives leaving the hospital as a huge relief. “Compared to the hospital, I feel like an oasis here. Although the doctors and nurses at Na Františku Hospital took excellent care of me, I am very happy to be in a new studio. I thought I was going to lose it, it was so long,” Krampol said bluntly.
Czech Belmondo left his large apartment in the center of Prague for good and moved into a nursing home. “I have my studio where no one notices you. They just bring you lunch, and if you need anything, they give you medicine, do your laundry or clean up. Everyone is very kind and helpful, it’s really beautiful and pleasant here,” he sang odes to his new home, Krampol, which feels much better in terms of health as well.
Even the stepson was relieved
In addition, his stepson Martin, who preferred not to go to the hospital, can finally visit him in the new apartment in Prague 1. “We like each other. He didn’t go to the hospital because I didn’t want it myself. Hospital premises are not good for him, so I didn’t want to expose him to it,” explained Krampol.

Birthday party in the countryside
“They put me back together in the hospital, so I feel good,” added Krampol, who will celebrate a birthday with those closest to you on Sunday near Nové Mlýn. “I want to do it at a friend’s house in the countryside. There is a beautiful corner three kilometers from Okora,” revealed Krampol, saying that a celebration in a pub doesn’t appeal to him even given the fact that he can’t go out following all the health struggles.
