Indonesian Archery Team Manager, Azis Armand said that the target set for Indonesian archery athletes was to match the medal achievement at the 1988 Olympics.

“Our target is to match the achievements of 1988 by those we are proud of, the three Srikandi,” said Armand.

Furthermore, one of the Indonesian archery athletes, Diananda Choirunisa, said that his team had no obstacles at all in preparing for the upcoming Paris Olympics.
“If there are no obstacles, we are now practicing with the same atmosphere as in Paris. So the practice is also made as similar as possible to the venue in Paris. So that is very helpful,” said Diananda.
Regarding opportunities, Dianada continued, Indonesia is believed to have the potential to win medals in archery. Because according to him, no country is favored in archery.
“Because, in archery, nothing is impossible. So all countries have the same potential and I am sure that Indonesia also has the same potential as them,” he said.
