The weather forecast is not like that this year.
Mildly put.
The meteorologists have predicted downpours from early morning to late evening, so sales for the traditional concert in the holiday town have come to a standstill.
At the same time, many people try to sell their tickets in various groups on Facebook.
6,500 tickets have been sold in advance, and there is a long way up to the small 9,000 that are available.
Still, the man behind the Løkken Concert, Kim Bach, keeps his spirits high.
– It’s a condition we know. When we work outdoors, we are dependent on the weather, he notes – dry.
– Fortunately, it doesn’t look like the rain will come in torrents – but more quietly. Our venue, which is a football pitch, should be able to handle that, says the concert manager.
He states that, due to the weather forecast, the organizers are also making sure that five large tents without sides are set up on the concert site, where concertgoers can seek shelter from the rain.
– But of course we encourage people to wear sensible and warm clothes. That means rubber boots and raincoats. And if that’s not enough, then also a hat and a raincoat, says Kim Bach.
Løkken Concert opens its doors at 12.30 and closes them once more shortly following 23.
