A 40-year-old man, a prison serviceman, was found at noon (Monday) stabbed and unconscious in a house that caught fire in New Gibeon in Benjamin. MDA teams pronounced him dead on the spot. The police said that a suspected murder was being investigated, and Security Service Commissioner Kobi Yacovi arrived at the scene. The Shin Bet is also involved in the investigation, which indicates the possibility that the background is nationalist.

The report of the man’s finding was received at 11:17 at MDA’s 101 center in the Jerusalem area. MDA medics and paramedics recognized that he was without signs of life and pronounced him dead. During initial investigation operations, suspicion grew that this was a criminal incident, following several penetrating wounds were found on his body.
