The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the investigation that dragged in House member HG and Audit Board member AS was related to Bank Indonesia’s CSR program. No suspects have been named in the case.

“From what is being asked (regarding Bank Indonesia’s CSR), that’s actually where it is, the connection is indeed there,” said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu in Jakarta, Thursday (11/7).

Asep was reluctant to detail the problems in the case. Because, the confidentiality of the investigation process is different from the investigation stage.

“This case is under investigation, so we can’t say anything yet,” said Asep.

Previously, the KPK opened an investigation into the case involving members of the House of Representatives and members of the BPK. The case was confirmed not to be a development of the bribery case conditioning the BPK’s findings in Sorong.

“For the investigation, there is a separate case, not a development of the Sorong case,” said KPK Investigation Director Asep Guntur Rahayu.

Asep was reluctant to provide detailed information regarding the case because the level of confidentiality of the investigation process is different from the investigation. Members of Commission XI of the DPR are believed to have been dragged into it. (Z-11)
