Biden’s family encourages him to continue

WASHINGTON (EFE).— The family of US President Joe Biden encouraged him yesterday during a meeting at Camp David to continue his campaign for re-election, despite some voices in the Democratic Party urging him to withdraw following his weak performance in the debate once morest former President Donald Trump.

One of the voices most urging Biden to resist the pressure is that of his son Hunter, who has had to fight his own court battle over an investigation opened when Trump was in power and which resulted in his conviction this month on charges of illegally purchasing and possessing a gun.

Hunter Biden wants the president to continue in the race for the White House to show voters his feisty nature, rather than the image projected on debate night of an aging president with a hoarse voice who was unable to finish some of his sentences.
