Password sharing Netflix ended over a year ago, when the company decided to end the mechanism that allowed subscribers to share their screens with other people. However, several users have been suing the company throughout this time, with the most recent lawsuit filed on June 26th.

In total, the exact number of people dissatisfied with the situation who decided to sue the platform is 943. In this sense, it is worth highlighting that 250 of these subscribers are from São Paulo, while the rest of this number is distributed across the states of Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Bahia and Pernambuco.

In general, these lawsuits claim that there is no way for Netflix to predict that the password is not shared by family members. One of the lawsuits, in fact, is from a 53-year-old man who is unhappy that his daughter cannot access the service on the TV in his room. He lives in the Higienópolis neighborhood, in the central region of São Paulo.
