Alarm over the health of Lucía Galán, from Pimpinela: “The doctors don’t give us time”

Three weeks ago, singer Lucía Galán, half of Pimpinela along with her brother Joaquín, announced to all her followers through social media that she had to undergo surgery due to a premalignant cyst in her pancreas, which required the removal of part of it.

Following this operation, and to calm the interest of the singer’s followers, the duo’s official Instagram account has reported the latest news on the artist’s health: “We tell you that Lucía remains stable and continues to evolve day by day, but the doctors clarified that a specific time for her recovery cannot yet be established.”

They also pointed to a possible date for the singer’s public reappearance: “She hopes to make her first outing to Hogar Pimpinela, which has just turned 28, to celebrate with the kids. Thank you all for your messages. As always, we will keep you informed.” This home is a home where the duo houses 25 children, as part of their more charitable side.

Her daughter gave more details

The singer’s daughter, Rocío Hazan, also wrote on her mother’s account: “Mom continues to comply with her treatment without a set time. When she regains her strength, her first outing will be a visit to Hogar Pimpinela to celebrate her 28th birthday. Thank you all.”

A few days ago, it was Galán herself who, through a video on social media, announced the news: “Last year in Madrid, while having a CT scan, they miraculously discovered a premalignant cyst in my pancreas. A follow-up was carried out and the conclusion reached was that I have to undergo surgery. They have to cut the ‘tail of the pancreas’, which is where the cyst is stuck to the wall, to prevent cancer.”
