Tone your arms with exercises

Tone your arms with exercises. Over time, gravity takes its toll on our bodies, and the skin on our arms takes its toll by losing tone and elasticity. And this gets worse if we have not maintained a healthy and active life.

But don’t worry if you already suffer from the so-called “bat arms”, because with physical activity you can reverse it. And if you don’t have it yet, it’s better to be safe than sorry, so tone your arms in time.

Below we leave you with three simple exercises to prevent or eliminate the skin that hangs from our arms between the armpit and the elbow, the so-called triceps brachii.

Tone your arms

Triceps stretch from behind

We stand in front of the mirror and bend our legs slightly. We raise our arms and with a small weight in our hands, or simply interlacing our fingers, we gently lower our forearms towards our back. Always keeping in mind that the elbows should not move and should always be aligned with our shoulders.

Push-ups

This exercise will strengthen our chest and triceps and can be performed in two ways. Beginners can place their knees on the floor with the tips of their toes touching the floor, while bending their arms, lowering themselves as far to the floor as possible.

The most advanced and fit will be able to place their body parallel to the ground, supported by their hands and skin, with their arms at shoulder height, and bend so that their chin touches the ground.

Backgrounds with a chair

We sit on the edge of a chair or any hard surface. We stretch our legs out in front of us and place our hands on the edge of the seat at shoulder height. Next, we must slowly lower and raise our arms, pointing our elbows towards the back of our body. We must avoid letting our shoulders “sink” while we flex. If we place our legs higher off the ground, our angle of flexion will change, which will make another group of triceps muscles work.

But if exercise is not your thing, there are also aesthetic treatments that will help you get rid of those “flying arms.”

Massages: Shaping massages help to reposition fat and eliminate it through the lymphatic system. In addition to this, there is lymphatic drainage, which helps to “empty” excess fluids and toxins.

Russian waves with electrostimulation: These electrical waves contract and relax the muscle.

Plaster therapy: This technique also seeks to firm the skin.

Tripolar radiofrequency: By using heat, it stimulates cells to produce new collagen to firm the skin. It also stimulates the formation of elastin so that the skin with folds is tightened and achieves a smooth appearance.

Cold sales: The cold is used to produce elastic contraction in the skin.
