Petition to the High Court: Reveal Yair Netanyahu’s alleged exercise

Further to the publication in “Maariv” regarding an investigation conducted by the elite unit of the Israel Police Lahav 433 regarding the granting of the diplomatic passport Leyar Netanyahu Back in January 2024, filed today (Tuesday) Adv Reuven Billetwho petitioned the High Court in the said matter, a reference to the High Courts Department at the State Attorney’s Office and stated in it that he decided to oppose its request to postpone the submission date of the State’s reference and Netanyahu Jr.’s reference to the petition he filed at the High Court.

According to him, the request for another postponement, third in number, is allegedly tainted with bad faith, and this is because 104 days have passed since the state and Yair Netanyahu were required to respond to his petition at the High Court, and since then nothing has changed from the point of view of the prosecution, on the one hand, but on the other hand, moves are being made behind the scenes to “train the creep” while Netanyahu The son is trying to find a job at the embassy in Miami so that he will have to get a diplomatic passport and in addition to promote a move as is known to appoint the CEO of the Likud as Israel’s consul in Miami, a move that will lead to the resolution of the issue on the part of Netanyahu Jr.

In his answer, Attorney Billet details that on March 27th Judge Yitzhak Amit ordered Medina and Netanyahu Jr. to submit their answer to the High Court by May 1st. On April 17, the respondents requested an extension to the response submission date until May 30, and he himself agreed to the request. On May 22nd, the respondents submitted a second request for an extension until July 10th, according to their claim that a meeting was held with those involved and references were received regarding the matter “however, an additional period of time is required to formulate their position”.

According to Attorney Billet, he agreed to this request as well, and the court did indeed approve the extension until tomorrow, as it were. However, according to him, “Today, the day before the deadline for submitting the respondents’ response, they are once more requesting an extension on the same grounds for which the previous extension was requested and granted” this time, Atty. Billet opposes the request and justifies his position.

“Since the honorable court’s decision according to which the respondents must submit a preliminary response, 104 days have passed, more than enough time to submit a ‘preliminary response.’ The petitioner’s opposition to another extension is based on the following matter: the petition refers to the diplomatic passport held by the respondent,” he claimed.

According to him, according to publications in the media, he learned that Netanyahu Jr. recently applied to the Israeli consulate in Miami in order to be added to the consulate’s staff, thereby ‘qualifying’ his possession of a diplomatic passport and, through cleverness, to become the one who is entitled to hold the so-called diplomatic passport.

“Not this one, on June 20, 2024, it was announced that the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs or both, are going to appoint Likud CEO Tzuri Siso as Israel’s consul in Miami. You don’t have to be a genius to understand what is happening. After submitting the petition to the High Court, Netanyahu Jr. requests to become an employee of the consulate in Miami, and a short time later the CEO of Likud is going to be appointed consul in Miami. Of all the countries in the world that have a consulate, precisely in Miami, a place where the place becomes vacant only on August 25, that is, in regarding a year. The things speak for themselves,” writes attorney Reuven Bilt.
