PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri took the oath of office for the PDIP DPP management for the 2019-2024 term of office which was extended until 2025. One of the names included in the management is Adian Napitupulu.
Adian is trusted to assist the work of PDIP Secretary General, Hasto Kristiyanto as Deputy Secretary General for Communications. In addition to Adian, a number of names such as Ganjar Pranowo to Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or Ahok are now appointed as Chairmen of the PDIP DPP.
Political observer, Karyono Wibowo, assessed that the entry of a number of new names adds political color to the Banteng party.
“Of course, the inclusion of names such as Ganjar, Ahok and Adian is expected to improve PDIP’s performance in realizing future party programs,” Karyono explained to journalists, Friday (5/7).
The Executive Director of the Indonesian Public Institute (IPI) is confident that the appointment has been made following careful consideration by Megawati Soekarnoputri.
“In choosing the party leader, Megawati certainly considers aspects of quality, capability, loyalty and integrity. The competency aspect is also an important consideration. For example, Adian who has the ability to organize student movement activists and other civil society groups to provide assistance on matters directly related to the interests of the people. Good luck!” said Karyono.
As is known, the extension of the PDIP management until 2025 was carried out at the PDIP DPP party school, Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta, Friday (5/7).
