For the new cooperation scenarios with SYRIZAas well as regarding the intra-party ballot in October, she spoke MP and candidate for president of PASOK, Nadia Giannakopoulouon the morning of Monday July 8 on SKAI.
Initially, Mrs. Giannakopoulou pointed out that “the main issue is to state what our proposals are for the world”, adding that what has been missing from PASOK are clear talks regarding tomorrow.
As to possibility of communication with Stefanos Kasselakiscommented that:
«Whether some people now remembered to hold a referendum to go with PASOK, sorry but did they ask PASOK? There is a conversation at a theoretical level regarding which programming convergence; On which programming positions?’
At the same time, Nadia Giannakopoulou reiterated that she will fight for the strengthening of PASOK in the central political arena, avoiding to express her readiness to assume the prime ministership like her co-candidate, Milena Apostolaki, insisting that “I am ready to assume the presidency of PASOK” .
“Greece is not a European exception, so a series of reforms must be made in our own country as well, such as cameras on the streets. Obviously, we didn’t do everything well. Candidates are invited to submit a series of proposals with substantial solutions. It is obvious that there are also ideological differences between us, for example I expressed a different position on the issue of postal voting. In any case, we have to guarantee the unity of the lineup the next day,” he concluded.
