The extent to which conscious nations take care of their children can be gauged from the judgment handed down by an American court. A court in Houston, Texas has sentenced a person to life imprisonment. He was found guilty of intentionally starving his girlfriend’s children.
45-year-old Victor Prado had accepted the girlfriend and her children at his home. The children were then three and four years old. This case is from 2020. Child Protective Services acted upon a neighbor’s complaint and testimony, and in May 2020 the children were placed in the care of Texas Children’s Hospital.
In its order, the court said that children are the real asset of our country, so their rights cannot be compromised and any abuse done to them cannot be condoned.

Victor Prado’s girlfriend was a businesswoman. She used to leave the children under Victor’s supervision when she went to the office.
