This Monday Viva Venezuela closes in four states

The third chapter of the Viva Venezuela Festival will close today in the states of Falcón, Lara, Yaracuy and Zulia, with meetings, workshops, samples and lots of live traditional music.

In the state of Falcón, the closing will be at the Zona Juventud de Coro Sports Center, starting at 4:30 in the followingnoon, with presentations by Sebastián Rojas, Kamila Riera, Caña y Bambú, Danzas Cartují and Paola Peña. At 7:00 the Cumarebo Drums will be put on stage, to give way to the Cumarebo Dances; then to Tambor Todariquiba, to Ensemble Alí Primera, Al Son de la Guinea, Luis Acacio “El Inmenso” and the closing will be at 10:30 pm, Tambor y Fuego.

In Yaracuy the party begins at the same time in Plaza Bolívar de Yaritagua with the Parranda Unión de Nirgua, followed by Danzas Bruzual, the Golperos de San Antonio and Raíces Crew. At 8:00 pm it will be Son Cumaco’s turn, then El Chino and his Salsarenata to finally close at 9:30 with Angie La Melódica.

Simultaneously, in the state of Lara, the same will be done on the Pablo Rodríguez La Ñema walk, in Tocuyo, with the presentations of Danzas Samantha, followed by the Escuela de Joropo al Ritmo del Bordón, then to Santa Bárbara Experimental, to Los Tocuyanos and the Hit Salt Water now.

The actress, oral narrator, puppeteer and playwright Flora Ovalles will have her presentation at 7:00 pm; to continue the activities with Maguey de Curarigua, at 8:00 pm; Tricolor de Falcón at 8:30 pm, and at 9:00 pm the Drums of Venezuela will close in style.

On Sunday, with many sounds of black or tamunangues and blows, the Folklore Association of Lara state paid a well-deserved tribute to the life and memory of Ángel María Pérez, the Catire, intangible cultural heritage of the Iribarren municipality of Lara state, who would be celebrating 106 years of life, and who was also told that he was “the greatest cultist.”

Meanwhile in Zulia, yesterday the groups Los Parranderitos, Orquesta Revelación, Danzas Ahora and Los Hermanos Montenegro took part on the main stage of the Ana María Campos park.

The concert was attended by the band members of the band, including the singers Justo Montenegro, Juan Carlos Ekmeiro and Jaime Indriago, as well as Trece de Junio, Lula López, Danzas Luis Castillo, the La Ley Orchestra of the National Guard, Zagalines del Padre Vilchez and Los Blanco.

This Monday the presentations in the state of Zulia will be in the Community Axis.
