Maduro approves plan to redevelop Petare neighborhood

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, approved a plan to redevelop the 5 de Julio neighborhood, located in Petare, Miranda state.

“I received from the Communal Councils of July 5, a project to knock down and rebuild the houses in the 5 de Julio neighborhood,” said Maduro, during a visit he made to the sector this Sunday.

He stressed that he wants to expand this project to all of Petare, so he called a male and female spokesperson from the 88 communal circuits to Miraflores, Caracas.

In this regard, he reported that said meeting will take place next Monday, July 8, to comprehensively evaluate this plan.

“In June we had the lowest inflation in 39 years, we are on the right track,” he said.
