The legend against the German national team player’s haircut: “Maybe he feels like a woman”

The German team yesterday (Friday) made its first appearance in the quarterfinals of a major tournament since 2016, but this soccer powerhouse is not satisfied. Therefore, the feelings were very difficult for the host of the Euros following she conceded in the 119th minute and was eliminated in the quarterfinals and lost 2:1 to Spain. Beside the occupation of the game itself, the hope for the future and the farewell to Tony Cross, there are those who were busy with much less important things.

The one who stood out on the pitch and not because of his ability is Robert Andrich, Bayer Leverkusen’s German midfielder, who showed off a new haircut following dyeing his hair pink. This particularly disturbed the former goalkeeper of the German national team, Jens Lehmann, who criticized: “Does he have a personality problem that makes him want to stand out like that? As a teammate, I would think it was very strange, and I don’t think the coach of the national team likes it.”

“Before he had blond hair and now he has pink hair. What is he trying to show us?” Lehmann wondered, “These days you have to be very careful, maybe he feels like a woman. You have to be tolerant, but I hope that UEFA will ban hair colors like Andrich because it can create confusion among the players.” By the way, when national team coach Julian Naglesman was asked regarding the issue, he had no problem: “Everyone can style their hair however they want, I don’t deal with haircut matters. What interests me is whether Andrich is eligible or not.”

Lehmann made headlines even before the match between Spain and Germany, following calling the Spanish national team a “youth team” due to the young age of some of its stars. Yesterday, Lehmann was served his revenge and on social media he mistakenly admitted: “Congratulations to the Spanish team. Today you have become mature fighters, with a little luck. Good luck in the rest of the tournament, I was wrong in my prediction.”
