Venezuelan host Maite Delgado confirmed on Monday, July 8, that she will host Miss Venezuela 2024 this year.

Delgado hosted Miss Venezuela from 1997 to 2010. She was also present as a presenter in the 2013 edition.
In 2022, when this beauty pageant was celebrated for 70 years, Maite Delgado returned as host of the event alongside José Andrés Padrón, Henry Silva and Luis Olavarrieta.
What is known regarding the contest
The date and location of the country’s most important beauty pageant, which selects representatives for Miss Universe and Miss International, are still unknown.
Venevisión and the Miss Venezuela organization have not yet confirmed whether this year’s edition will be held once more at the Poliedro de Caracas as in 2022 or at the Centro Comercial Líder, the 2023 venue.
The organization in charge of this contest, led by former beauty queens Nina Sicilia and María Gabriela Isler, has already begun the selection process for the 24 candidates for Miss Venezuela.
So far, the organization has crowned six regional representatives to compete in the 2024 edition: Yaracuy, Aragua, Bolívar, Anzoátegui, Carabobo and Guárico, with Distrito Capital and Lara missing.

In December 2023, the representative of the Amazonas state, Ileana Marquez, was crowned Miss Venezuela.
