Nestlé France announces lawsuit

The following March 30, health authorities announced that they had identified a link between the consumption of these pizzas and several severe cases of contamination, and two days later the governor of Nordland banned the production of pizzas at the Cowdery factory.

A judicial investigation was launched in May 2022, focusing specifically on involuntary manslaughter, involuntary injury, and placing on the market products harmful to health and harmful to others. The factory was subsequently sold by Nestlé to Italian company Italpizza.
