The winner of Miss Czech Republic 2023, Justýna Zedníková (21), succeeded at the Miss Supranational international beauty contest, which took place in Poland. The beauty finished in a sensational third place in the competition of 67 girls from all over the world. The winner was the Indonesian Harashta Haifa Zahra, second place goes to the USA for Jenna Dykstra.
Zedníková was originally supposed to represent the Czech Republic at Miss World, but due to the covid break, last year’s winner Krystyna Pyszková (25), who eventually won Miss World, went to the competition.
Misses completed a parade in swimsuits and evening gowns, as well as an interview with the jury. They also charmed in national costumes.
It was prepared for Zedníková by Miss Czech Republic creative director and designer Sam Dolce. “The costume is the result of painstaking work and is designed to represent our country with dignity on the international stage. The national costume “Blue-eyed girl” represents an exceptional fusion of Czech tradition with European classics and innovative world design. The inspiration for this model was a Czech folk song, deeply rooted in our cultural consciousness since early childhood,” informed Sam Dolce before the start of the competition.
Zedníková belongs to our successful models. After the world competition, she also wants to return to the school she left.
“I had to cancel a couple of jobs because of the world competition, so I hope it won’t affect me in any way in the future. I also stopped my studies to go full time and plan to go back. So, no longer to university of economics, but to teaching,” Zedníková told Super.cz recently.
