Assembler consolidates start of the Paraguaná Special Economic Zone

With a production capacity of at least 55 thousand units per year and an export vocation, the Inkssa Cucine kitchen assembly plant began its operations as the first initiative that is crystallized in a tangible and formal way in the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) of the country.

The start-up of the plant generates 80 direct and 50 indirect jobs. This is Paraguayan labor that assembles four- and six-burner stoves, which, in the first instance, will be exported to Central America, specifically to Nicaragua, with a view to focused on expanding the market to other latitudes.

The governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark Boscán, attended the inauguration of the plant where, together with the sole authority of the ZEE, Sergio Quintero, and businessman Roberto González, he was extremely pleased that Falcón was once once more a pioneer in the industrial field.

He maintained that thanks to the vision of President Nicolás Maduro, these economic zones were created that point to a new productive economic model that promotes what was done in Venezuela.

The Paraguaná Special Economic Zone, at the municipal level, is the one with the lowest taxes, rates and tariff burden in the country, which represents another important attraction for companies to settle in the productive economic pole made up of the Carirubana municipalities. , Falcón and Los Taques.

In his speech, Clark pointed out the example of the Mariño municipality of the Nueva Esparta state, on the island of Margarita, to which Falcón and its SEZ present a much more competitive offer in relation to the issue of municipal taxes and other facilities for operation and functioning of businesses that wish to make their way in the region.

New productive stage

The sole regional authority of the Special Economic Zone of Paraguaná, Sergio Quintero, congratulated the achievement that “today is a concrete reality and positions us as the first SEZ in the country that is beginning to become tangible with results and early victories that, we are sure, will to further excite the business community that has decided to bet on Venezuela and be the protagonist of the good and new things that are coming for our nation.”

While businessman Roberto González said he was very proud that his venture is the first to begin operations in the area of ​​special economic zones in Venezuela, which is nothing more than a stimulus and the best opportunity to call on everyone to join. to this effort for the development, growth and well-being of the country.

For his part, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industrials of Paraguaná (Cacoinpar), Francisco Melian, highlighted the entry into force of the new baggage regime that will enhance the incentives of the Free Zone, in which the 30 and 40 percent discounts to keep prices competitive.

He explained that as of July 1789, following the expiration of the economic emergency decree issued by the Head of State, decree 200 will open a range of possibilities with the provision of some XNUMX items that can be marketed at a better price, which impacts in shopping tourism.

“Now as a business sector it is up to us to start a campaign to promote the benefits of the Free Zone in Paraguaná so that commerce is reactivated, and with it, the interest of different people or merchants to come to Paraguaná to buy in bulk,” he explained. .

He said that, from now on, they will not only encourage visits to the region for the natural beauties, but also for the possibility of rescuing shopping tourism.
