THE Interamericanon the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, announces the completion of the pioneering program “Mentoring for Women in Leadership 2023“, in collaboration with the organization Women On Top. Through a specialized six-month program, initiatives were designed to support women in their jobs, achieving significant results and comprehensive development of employees.
During the meetings, fifteen women employees of the Group, with the support of the Women on Top network of mentors, had the opportunity to exchange opinions, discuss and face the daily challenges of their professional lives. Mentors of Women On Top, coming from different companies and organizations and in some cases from different countries, voluntarily shared their knowledge and experience, enabling each participant to develop her leadership skills and promote her professional development, creating, at the same time, a dynamic core of solidarity and mutual development.
THE Ms. Drosia Kardassi, Human Resources Director of Interamericanemphasized the importance of the program: “Women Mentorship is more than a training program. Its aim is to empower the company’s women, both on a personal and professional level. Through the program, the mentees come into contact with mentors from different places and organizations, acquiring valuable knowledge and skills. This gives them the opportunity to share experiences and develop additional expertise. We plan to continue the program so that more women workers can experience this amazing experience».
Strengthening the inclusive culture that permeates its principles, Interamerican plans to renew and expand the program, targeting a wider audience and the continued empowerment of women in leadership positions.
