BNI Launches Wondr Application to Facilitate Financial Services for the Community – 2024-07-08 06:30:15

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) launched the financial application wondr by BNI as a financial solution for the community. The application is expected to be able to support the needs of comprehensive financial services to all its customers.

PT BNI President Director Royke Tumilaar said, the presence of wondr by BNI is also intended to facilitate the community’s financial service activities. That is because all financial service needs are offered through the application.

“We see that this is a good thing to try, facilitating customer financial service activities through one platform. We build this platform as a bridge to realize customer aspirations, so that this application can help them,” he said at the launch of wondr by BNI, at the BNI Head Office, Jakarta, Friday (5/7).

Royke also explained that wondr by BNI is also a real manifestation of the company’s transformation in presenting financial service innovations. This breakthrough is expected to be able to present relevant financial solutions for the community.

“This is the realization of BNI’s transformation in presenting innovative banking applications to facilitate transactions as well as planning for a more optimal future for the community. We hope that wondr by BNI can be a solution in improving more comprehensive community banking activities,” he said.

Although the company’s financial services have entered the digital ecosystem, Royke said the company did not immediately eliminate or even reduce offline services. He ensured that optimum services through branch offices would still be accessible to the public.

The efficiency carried out by the company also does not always reduce the number of employees. This is because the company understands the need for human presence to ensure that banking services through digital applications are carried out properly.

“Therefore, we also prepare human resources to be more competent. So maybe there will be a shift, from previously in the branch office there were several tellers, we will reduce and shift them to become marketing staff. Because through wondr by BNI itself, it is like a teller,” he explained.

The company also ensures the security of customer data for wondr by BNI users. At least, the company provides multiple layers of security for the application. The first layer is education for customers using wondr by BNI.

The second layer is control over the wondr by BNI application, and the third layer is the existence of security technology such as artificial intelligence. “So security such as data encryption, servers must always be safe, including data backup, that already exists,” explained BNI Operations and Technology Director Toto Prasetio on the same occasion.

“Then the last layer is we install antifraud. This is to overcome customer behavior, so that if there is an anomaly in the transaction, we can reject it,” he added.

He also explained that the advantages offered by wondr by BNI are the existence of three unique financial dimensions that reflect the concept of the present, past, and future. In the present concept, wondr by BNI presents a transaction dimension, namely a dimension that supports the real-time financial needs of customers with domestic transfer features, bill payments, and transfer schedule settings.

Then the concept of the past is presented through the insight dimension. In this dimension, customers can monitor and analyze their previous finances through a complete financial summary display. This dimension also allows customers to manage their finances more optimally by referring to historical data.

Then the concept of the future is presented through the growth dimension. This dimension focuses on future planning by providing various financial products that suit customer needs, such as investment and savings.
