Xi, for his part, declared: “The agreements reached between China and Russia are being fully implemented, and cooperation in the directions we have outlined is progressing smoothly.” According to him, in the face of a much more difficult international situation and external environment, Moscow and Beijing must maintain their commitment to “forever friendship.”
