Do you cut the hedge before the holidays? This is how you get ahead of the thief

One thing that can get your heart rate up though is the thought of burglars prowling around your now abandoned home while you’re soaking up the sun on a sunbed in Mallorca.

That is why North Jutland’s Police are now making a call to citizens who are traveling away from their homes in the coming months – namely to protect themselves once morest burglary.

“It is, to put it in good North Jutland, just really boring to come back from a good holiday and then find that your home has been the subject of a burglary,” says deputy police inspector at Nordjylland’s Police, Niels Kronborg, in a post on Facebook.

According to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, burglaries tend to come in waves because they may involve itinerant criminals.

How to reduce the risk of burglary

How to protect once morest burglary may be repetitions of advice you have previously heard or received. Nevertheless, they are still the ones that apply.

The almost obvious advice is to lock doors and windows and remove valuable items from places where they can be seen from the outside.

  • Call 114 if you see people or cars with suspicious behavior in your neighbourhood.
