The Mayor of Patreon, Kostas Peletidis, and the Deputy Mayor of Education and Public Administration, Katerina Simou, welcomed last Friday at the City Hall, the members of the Theater Workshop of “POLYPHONIKIS” (juvenile department), who participated in the theatrical performance “The Noses Popped”, together with their parents, the actors of the theatrical performance, the Artistic Director of the Organization, Mo Stavros Solomos, the Treasurer of the Board of Directors, Yiannis Kalantzopoulos and the Director of the Theater Workshop Athena Kallimani – Georgitsopoulou.
The work of the author Anna Dendrinou, under the auspices of the Deputy Mayor of Education of the Municipality and with the initiative of the Director of the department and Municipal Councilor of the Municipality of Patreon, Athena Kallimani-Georgitsopoulou, traveled for 6 months to 47 kindergartens and Primary Schools of the Municipality, for performances which was attended by over 5,000 students, while through this action, the social grocery store of the Municipality was strengthened.
The members of the theater group, the actors of the performance, and also the parents of the children were given commemorative praises for the action they carried out during these 6 months in the Primary Education schools of the Municipality of Patreon.
The theater group was made up of: Panagiotis Apostolou-Zisis, Vasiliki Aravantinou, Aelia Vassiliou, Iliana Verra, Nikolas Exarchos, Ioli Iordanidis, Anastasia Malagoniari, Stelios Malagoniaris, Marina Maratou, Filippos Rougalas, Melina Samioti, Vasiliki Siaterli, Evangelia Skouta, Marina Skouta, Stavros Solomos, Kalliroi Travlou.
The script was written by the author Anna Dendrinou, the teaching, adaptation, direction and coordination of the action by Athina Kallimani – Georgitsopoulou. Theater Workshop Assistant: Ioanna Xanthi. Mask making: Dimitris Raptis.
The teachers of the “POLYPHONIKIS” CONSERVATORY participated: Teti Zerva (mandolin), Nikos Skeparnias (guitar), Christos Tsailakis (guitar) as well as the student Panagiotis Athanasakopoulos (guitar).
