In an interview with Al-Qahirah Al-Akhbariya channel, Amr Moussa said: “What is happening in the West Bank is parallel to the danger that Gaza is facing today, because there is an Israeli plan to seize all the occupied lands until now, and thus Israel expands and rules these lands from the river to the sea, which is Palestine.”
Moussa added: “There is massive chaos in the region and it might expand at any moment,” stressing that “Arab normalization with Israel cannot be free.”
The former Secretary-General of the Arab League added: “Israel’s policy is racist and we will not accept it,” considering that “the United States of America is capable of stopping Israel.”
Earlier, a leaked document from the Israeli Ministry of Intelligence revealed Tel Aviv’s plan to displace the residents of the Gaza Strip to Egypt.
The leaked document, dating back to October 2023, referred to the “forced” transfer of the residents of the Gaza Strip to Sinai, noting that this “will achieve positive and long-term strategic results.”
In the context of talking regarding the latest developments regarding the prisoner exchange and ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas through mediators, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz quoted an unnamed foreign source as saying that Tel Aviv has presented new demands that may lead to obstructing these negotiations and prolonging their duration.
