Three-year-old boy found floating motionless in the water in Linz outdoor pool: resuscitated

The boy was floating motionless in the water. According to the police, he was rescued by a lifeguard, who then began resuscitation together with a visitor to the swimming pool. The child was taken to the Linz Children’s Hospital by ambulance.

When the police arrived at around 5 p.m., the boy had already been successfully resuscitated and was being cared for by an emergency doctor. The lifeguard told the officers that he had noticed a crowd of people at the edge of the pool. He immediately rushed to the pool and pulled the boy out of the water. The toddler had visited the outdoor pool with his family. They are Italian citizens who apparently live in Linz.
