The destiny of Ayu Ting Ting’s engagement with Muhammad Fardhana took a turn when he asked her to return the dowry that had been given by his former future in-laws as a gift.
Ayu Ting Ting calmly accepted Muhammad Fardhana’s request, explaining that she was sincere and happy to comply. The 32-year-old dangdut singer returned everything as requested by Muhammad Fardhana via WhatsApp on July 3, 2024.

As a mother, she expressed relief at no longer having the burden of the dowry. She mentioned that she did not want to dwell on the reason behind Muhammad Fardhana’s request.
“Alhamdulillah, Ayu feels relieved, she has no more burden. Whatever the intention, thank God there is nothing left from the proposal. She is relieved because everything has been returned,” she said.
Ayu Ting Ting’s Desire to Return the Gifts From the Start
Ayu Ting Ting had actually wanted to return the gifts from the beginning. She expressed this desire during a family meeting on June 27, 2024.

“For Ayu, the gifts included makeup, nightwear, bags, shoes, prayer equipment, towels, skincare, and perfume,” she said.
“The dowry also featured delicious Betawi specialties,” added Dita.
