Teenagers who were arrested for violence against several men in Telemark have been released

The three accused were produced for remand in Telemark district court. The prosecution asked for four weeks’ imprisonment for all of them, but the court concluded that they should be released.

NRK wrote earlier on Friday that the police appealed the release and that the court had agreed to a suspensive effect, which means they can be held in custody until the Court of Appeal has heard the case

Telemark newspaper writes that the police later withdrew the appeal.

The accused are between the ages of 17 and 19 and are charged with four different incidents of violence. The victims are between 23 and 70 years old, the teenagers have filmed the episodes and published the films online.

The teenagers have admitted the circumstances in police questioning.
