The loud explosions and flashes of light caused by the falling meteorite in America and Canada scared the citizens, local people said that their houses were shaken due to the loud sound.
Meteorites fell in the northeastern parts of the United States and the southern part of the Canadian province of Ontario, which created a very loud sound.
These meteors fell in the American cities of Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York.
Photos and videos shared by locals on social media showed glowing orbs of light speeding towards the ground and causing a loud sound and flash of light as they fell.
Later, the American space agency NASA released the satellite images of these meteorites, in which they can be seen entering the boundaries of the Earth. According to NASA, these might be fragments of asteroids.
Residents of central and western New York said they heard a loud noise that shook their houses.
It should be noted that this is the second incident of meteorite entering the Earth’s borders this week, a few days earlier similar bright pieces were seen falling to the ground in Japan which scared the locals.
NASA says that only 5 percent of these pieces that fall from space reach the Earth’s surface, because of the gases they contain, they catch fire as they enter the Earth’s atmosphere.
As 70% of the Earth is made up of water, most of these pieces end up in oceans or rivers.
