Marble Industry: SinaStone Launches New Natural Stone Factory and Showroom in Casablanca

With a surface area of 45,000 square meters, the new factory of SinaStone, a subsidiary of the Intersig Maroc & Karkachi group, required an investment of 130 million dirhams. Speaking at the launch, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, emphasized that the inauguration of this integrated factory, built according to international standards, represents a significant step for the sector and a source of pride for Moroccan industry.

He continued: “By producing high-value marble products, this project fulfills the needs of the domestic market and contributes to strengthening the Kingdom’s industrial sovereignty, aligning with the directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.”

Adil Ibnoussina, CEO of SinaStone, stated: “We are proud to launch our new model plant, which meets international norms and standards.” “Our ambition is to expand our presence in major cities across the Kingdom and create new opportunities for employment. Ultimately, we aim to increase our export volumes to further showcase Moroccan expertise and excellence,” he added.

Fatima-Zahra Jama, Deputy General Manager of SinaStone, highlighted this event as a significant milestone in the company’s journey, reflecting a renewal not only of the brand identity but also its strategy and positioning within the natural stone market.

As part of this new strategy, SinaStone has invested in state-of-the-art facilities to better cater to market demands. This new model plant, equipped with advanced processes and technologies like the 5-axis cutting machine (CNC), Scan Image Share, and QR code traceability, positions the company for prominent success in the market.

Established four years ago, SinaStone employs 200 people and operates across five major production units (sawing, resining, polishing, cutting, and machining).
