“The real republican front is us” –

A decisive challenge, with Jordan Bardella playing an unprecedented chance. “Today, we are the true republican front. And that is the big difference with all the other elections,” the president of the Rassemblement Nationale tells Le Figaro. “France has two clear paths available to it. Either the coalition of patriots and republicans that I lead, which defends France, but which also protects the Republic from those who want to damage it and who want to sow trouble within it. Or the alliance of the worst – that of the far left -, with the horizon of a Prime Minister Jean-Luc Mèlenchon, the disarmament of the police, an ambiguity regarding anti-Semitism, the desire to free prisoners, fiscal hell, disorder and insurrection,” adds the leader of the French right. “This alliance, supported by Emmanuel Macron, is a dishonorable alliance. I find it deplorable to see a President of the Republic, who accuses the LFI of anti-Semitism and communitarianism, throw himself into the arms of Jean-Luc Mèlenchon”, adds Bardella.

“If the French want it, we will have an absolute majority,” Marine Le Pen’s heir wrote in X, re-releasing the interview. “Unlike our adversaries who only want to prevent us from winning, we have an ambition and a project for the country.”

Meanwhile, the left and centrists are trying to block the path of Marine Le Pen’s party in view of the second round. At least 200 candidates have withdrawn from the race as “desist” to try to stop the advance of the Rassemblament national, following the success recorded last Sunday. This is the estimate of the AFP, in view of the electoral appointment of Sunday 7 July. The candidates who came in third have withdrawn in order to channel the votes to the one who has the best chance of defeating Marine Le Pen’s party.
