The German midfielder Toni Kroos announced the end of his career professional following the Euro Cup tournament in Germany.
The 34-year-old footballer has rejected the offer to renew his contract with Real Madrid, saying goodbye to his football career. “Today, following 10 years, at the end of the season, this life comes to an end” reported that he made the statement through his Instagram.

Kroos decided to retire at a very high point in his career. As well as having the chance to win his sixth Champions League, he is also considered a candidate to win the Ballon d’Or.
As he himself confirmed, he will dedicate his time to the next generation. “My idea of retirement also has to do with spending more time at home with my children,” said the German footballer.
Toni is the father of three children, Leon, Amelia and Fin, who were present at his farewell for his last match at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Kroos will start an academy for childrens, but he will also take on a new challenge for the world of football. “I am also going to open a league in Germany. A kind of Kings League…,” he admitted.
