THE Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned former Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Dahlan Iskan today, July 3, 2024. He will be asked for information regarding alleged corruption in the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina (Persero).

“The examination was carried out at the Red and White KPK Building,” said KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto in a written statement, Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Tessa was reluctant to detail the information that investigators would dig up from Dahlan’s statement. The former BUMN minister was once questioned by the KPK when this case had not yet been developed.

Previously, the KPK developed a case of alleged corruption in the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina (Persero). This new case was announced following former Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Galaila Karen Kardinah alias Karen Agustiawan was found guilty in the case.

“Currently, the Corruption Eradication Committee is developing an investigation into alleged corruption related to the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina (Persero),” said KPK spokesperson Tessa Mahardhika Sugiarto at the KPK’s Red and White Building, South Jakarta, Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Tessa explained that the alleged corruption occurred from 2011 to 2021. This behavior is believed to have cost the state USD113,839,186.

The KPK named two suspects in the case. Tessa was reluctant to detail their names, however, their identities are HK and YA.
