Sudan – The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the Rapid Support Forces, yesterday, Monday, of committing a massacre in Sennar State, southeast of the country, which led to the killing of 40 civilians.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Rapid Support Forces had attacked various areas in Sennar State in the past few days, including the villages of Jebel Moya, where they committed a massacre that claimed the lives of more than 40 unarmed civilians on the outskirts of Sennar city, then the city of Singa, which is one of the largest gatherings of displaced people, causing new displacements.
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry also accused the Rapid Support Forces of turning Singa Hospital into a military barracks from which to launch its military attacks on innocent people.

Sudanese army spokesman Nabil Abdullah said that the Rapid Support Forces destroyed part of the Halfaya Bridge, causing damage to the bridge’s concrete structures.

For its part, the Rapid Support Forces accused the army of destroying the bridge to hinder the advance and attack of its forces on Monday morning on the “Wadi Sayedna” military area belonging to the Sudanese army.
The official spokesman for the Rapid Support Forces, Al-Fateh Qarashi, said that the Sudanese army and the battalions of the Islamic Movement allied with it destroyed the Halfaya Bridge, which links the cities of Khartoum Bahri and Omdurman this morning, noting that the army had sought the help of foreign experts to help them destroy the bridge to hinder the advance and attack of its forces.
It is noteworthy that the Rapid Support Forces control the Khartoum-Bahri side of the Halfaya Bridge, while the army forces control the Omdurman side.
On the other hand, the Darfur Youth Authority accused the Rapid Support Forces of launching an armed attack using explosives on the Tijaniyya neighborhood mosque in the city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, while worshipers and displaced people were present, which led to the killing of 8 people and wounding 12 others with varying injuries.
The Coordination of the Resistance Committees of El Fasher said that 8 people from one family, including children, were “killed” as a result of the bombing of a mosque in the city of El Fasher in North Darfur State, west of the country.
A statement by the coordination committee stated that “a drone belonging to the Rapid Support Forces bombed a mosque in the Tijaniya neighborhood east of Al-Fasher, which led to the martyrdom of 8 members of one family, most of them children, and the injury of 12 others.”
Since April 15 of last year, Sudan has been witnessing a bloody war between the regular armed forces led by Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and the Rapid Support Forces led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo (Hemedti), followed by a deep humanitarian crisis.
