Ducati Lenovo rider Francesco Bagnaia is determined to add to his record of wins at the Dutch GP at the TT Assen Circuit this weekend.
Bagnaia, who currently sits second in the 2024 standings, has recorded two wins at Assen in the last two seasons.
“Hopefully the weather and conditions will allow us to work consistently from the first session and day, but in any case, I am ready to face the weekend in any condition,” said Bagnaia, quoted from Ducati’s official statement, Thursday (27/6).
Bagnaia’s confidence also emerged following a series of victories in the last grand prix in Barcelona and Mugello.
According to the Italian rider, the riding impressions and setup updates on the Desmosedici GP bike are getting better from race to race.
“In the last grand prix, we have worked well, and my feeling with the Desmosedici is that it performed very well,” said the rider who is familiarly known as Pecco.

“I just had two wins in a row, three, if we also count the Sprint in Mugello, so for sure there are conditions to continue doing well,” he added.
Meanwhile, Bagnaia’s team-mate Enea Bastianini also enters Assen with confidence, buoyed by his strong performance at Mugello, where he secured second place.
After the first seven rounds of the season, Bastianini sits fourth in the standings, and is aiming to build on his consistent form.

“After a good result at my home race in Italy, I arrive in the Netherlands with motivation and energy. I have never managed to get on the podium at Mugello in the past, and this year’s success, even though I still feel like something is missing, gives me hope for the next races,” said Bastianini.
“We will work hard from the first session on Friday to be able to fight for the top position,” he continued.
The first day of the Dutch GP, Friday (28/6), will be filled with FP1 and practice starting at 15.45 WIB and 20.00 WIB respectively.
Furthermore, on Saturday (29/6), FP2 starts at 15.00 WIB, the qualifying session at 15.50 WIB, and Sprint at 20.00 WIB.
The main race will be held on Sunday (30/6) at 19.00 WIB. (Ant/Z-1)
