In May, nine-year-old Tony Hudgell missed King Charles’ garden party because he was stuck in traffic. Eleven-year-old Lyla O’Donovan was unable to attend due to illness. When British Queen Camilla (76) found out about this, she invited both of them to a “private garden party” with a carriage ride and afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace.
Both Tony and Lyla experienced terrible fates. The boy was abused by his biological parents and is now growing up with adoptive parents. Lyla O’Donovan was diagnosed with a brain tumor at an early age. She had to undergo several operations, but never lost her will to live.
