Godoy brothers from Trujillo state shined in Madrid

Brothers Juan Diego and Juan Pablo Godoy, two emerging talents from the Kuikas Football Academy in Trujillo, shined in the prestigious MadCup 2024 Tournament that was played in Madrid, Spain.

With an inauguration at the brand new Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium, belonging to Atlético Madrid, this competition began, to which the C-10 Academy traveled (9 categories) reinforced not only with children from Kuikas but also from other Trujillo organizations such as León de Judá and Country Club.

Juan Diego Godoy was in the under-8 team that reached the semi-finals

The action took place in different training camps of the big Madrid clubs. Juan Diego in the under-8 category and Juan Pablo in the under-10 category were part of outstanding performances that qualified them as leaders and undefeated for the Gold Cup.

In the under-8 category, with 91 teams from different countries participating, they reached the semi-finals, and the under-10 category reached the round of 16. The under-11 category reached the final, which they lost to the Real Madrid youth team.

The proud parents of these Trujillo football prospects, such as “The Sports Lawyer” Alexander Godoy and Joanna Testa, continue their popular work from the capital of Trujillo state through Kuikas and the Sports Brand AG.
